The Palm Beach Race of Hope is a 5K (3.1 mile) distance.
Yes, the Palm Beach Race of Hope is a walker-friendly event. Racers of all ages and abilities are welcome to complete the Race at their own pace.
Bicycles, scooters, and skates are not permitted for in-person participants at the Palm Beach Race of Hope.
If you are participating in the Virtual Race, you may use any wheels of your choice to complete your distance.
We ask participants to choose to race or volunteer, not both, as volunteers will serve multiple roles throughout the event from set-up to clean-up. If you wish to both volunteer and race, consider volunteering at early packet pick up the day before the event.
Racers are not offered a gear bag check service. You should only bring items that you can carry on your person, leave with a friend, or store in your vehicle.
Bag check is available for volunteers only. The Race of Hope is not liable for items lost, stolen, or left behind in our bag check.
Race distance trackers are not needed. The NYC Race of Hope provides professional chip tracking to record race times. Fitness devices and apps make it easier for you to know approximately where you are on the race route at a glance, but their use is not required.
